Linkin Park Tickets Available Now
By far one my most favorite bands, Linkin Park entered the world stage with an iconic sound that not many have been able to achieve.
Combining the hard rock sounds of some of the harder alternative bands with a rap undertone was actually quite a great achievement.
Since then Linkin Park tickets have been flying off the shelves even if avid fans don’t always agree with the their choices of music style on all of their albums.
Honestly though its clear that Linkin Park songs have something for everyone and with such a large list to chose from, everyone is pretty happy!
A Little About Linkin Park
This California based band was formed in 1996 but they got the global fame in 2005 after releasing the first album “Hybrid Theory” and it was certified as a Diamond Record Album by the Recording Industry Association America (RIAA ).
The band was originally formed with three members- Mike Shinoda, Brad Delson and Rob Bourdon.
These three high school friends used to share the same musical ambitions and they decided to form a band and “Xero” was the first name of the band.
Later the band took David Farrell, Joe Hann and Mark Wakefield as members.
Just like most of the well-known bands, Linkin Park had to struggle quite a lot to get a good record deal and there was internal friction between the members, Wakefield and Farrell ended up leaving the group.
Wakefield was the vocalist of the band and his departure left the band without vocalist and it was a real tough time for the band.
Finally Chester Bennington signed on as a member of the band on March of 1999 and they changed their name from Xero to Hyvbrid Theory. Finally they settled their name as Linkin Park as a homage to Santa Monica’s Lincoln Park.
They really worked hard to get a break and finally they got it once they met Jeff Blue, the Vice President of Warner Bros Records and a meeting that resulted the debut album in 2000, “Hybrid Theory”.
It was a huge success for the group as the album were sold over 4.8 million copies and the song “Crawling” achieved the Grammy Award For Best Hard Rock Performance and at the same time they also got nominated for the Best Rock Album and Best New Artist.
These awards helped sell more albums and Linkin Park has music fans from all over the world.
On March 25, 2003 their second album Meteora was released and it sold over 3 million copies.
Minutes To Midnight, A Thousands Suns, Living Things, Recharged, The Hunting Party are the other albums released by Linkin Park.
